Heads up on “What Makes These Ads Good”

Michelle Golden of "Golden Practices" did a great post entitled "What Makes These Ads Good" about some recent ads she’s come across which really grabbed her.

Michelle writes:

"The first one reminds me of blogs that are written by professionals wanting to increase their business by providing useful information to people who buy what they sell."  This one is for kitty litter.

When she looked at the second ad, run by a dental group "I read on and find differentiator after differentiator" that transforms what could be a somewhat mundane service into a compelling marketing message.

Read her entire post here.

If you can make kitty litter and dentistry sexy, what could a great ad (or marketing message) do for your company?

  1. Susan, thanks for picking up the post. I really like your business (sanity) and marketing approaches. Your choice of the word “transformation” sums it up perfectly. So much of marketing is about influencing peoples’ perceptions for the better and “caring” enough to share information is a perfect way to do that!
