Want a fun way to help kids enjoy and discover Paris?

Summer is coming and if your plans include a trip to Paris with your kids, please check out the website and blog created by my friend and expat Sarah Towle. Our kids have been best buddies since nursery school and Sarah and family moved several some years ago. She’s always loved travelling and has a knack for making things fun, interesting and relevant for kids.

Sarah has combined these interests and talents into a new business venture that’s already creating some buzz both on and off the internet.

To get a taste of how Sarah can make the trip memorable for your family, take a look at her recent post, “Beware Madame La Guillotine – Pilot Tour!” which highlights a tour taken by students of the International School In Paris, guided by historical figure and “murderess” Charlotte Cordey.

Sarah writes:
“On Thursday, April 1, 2010, as part of their study of the French Revolution, the 8th grade class at the International School of Paris took a walking tour of the era with Charlotte Corday. Charlotte is known for having assassinated Jean-Paul Marat, radical journalist and proponent of the Reign of Terror. She blamed Marat for destroying the true revolution. She felt that his death would bring an end to the fear and bloodshed tearing her country apart.

She decided to do it herself.” (more…)

Whether you are planning a trip for your family, or are a teacher seeking a fun way to educate your students on the history of France, check out what Time Traveler Tours has to offer. Upcoming products include an iphone app, video tours and more.
