Small Business And Health Care Reform – Questions?

The small business community is abuzz with questions, concerns and mis-information about health insurance reform.

In the small business “Agenda” blog, part of the “You’re the boss” blog section of the NY Times, Robb Mandelbaum has done a nice job of covering the health insurance reform issue from the small business perspective. To combat all the hype and mis-information about the bill, Robb has just written two blog posts of interest to anyone following the issue from this point of view.

One small business owner was concerned that the new health care reform bill was going to bankrupt his company. Robb responded with some level headed information in a post entitled “Why Health Care Reform Won’t Put Greg EP Out…“. Monday evening, he invited biz owners or anyone in the SMB community to post questions they might have about the health insurance reform legislation in a second post:

“Earlier today, The Agenda answered a question from a small-business owner about how the new health care law — which President Obama will sign Tuesday — might affect his future. That answer, in turn, begat more reader questions…The new law is big and complex, and we suspect there are many more questions out there. So if you own a small business, or work for one, we invite your questions about health insurance coverage and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.”

I look forward to see what real facts and figures Robb can dig up on this hotly contested topic. Click here to go to the blog, post your questions and hopefully get some objective answers.
