OK, I resisted for a long time, but finally created a twitter account about a week or so ago. I’m looking at it as an internet marketing experiment, to see whether twitter can help increase web site and blog traffic.
No, I’m not telling people what I’m doing each minute, does anybody really care about that? Instead, I’m tweeting whenever I blog, and also submitting certain web pages of interest. I’ll also tweet when I’m doing a workshop or other program.
So far I have 21 followers, 2 are people I know, several are people I’ve decided to follow, and the rest are people who’ve found me.
Stay tuned, I’ll get back to you with a report of how it’s going in a couple of weeks.
